The Naval Cathedral mosaic floor – photo 2
The Naval cathedral of Saint Nicholas in Kronstadt was built as a main church of the Baltic Fleet. The cathedral was designed by Vasily Kosyakov and built in 1903-1913, architectural style - late neo-byzantine. The floors are made of marble and decorated with mosaic pieces of fish, jellyfish, sea plants and ships.
